Hello…My name is Candy and I can’t stop creating businesses and have been like this my whole life…LOL!! Seriously, it’s the truth. I have ALWAYS had an entrepreneurial spirit. It all started In 6th grade when I had the idea to make black and white printed cartoon images that could be colored in that I would print and sell to my classmates for a quarter each. They actually bought them and from then on I was hooked! I would sit in class and doodle and day dream drawing up the plans for my dream business…a Candy Store called..The Candy Dish (of course duh)…check out the name of my blog for a tribute back to that dream 🙂 I would still love to have that store some day..who knows.
As I grew older my business ideas just kept coming some of them just dreams and some of them realities…let’s see…take a trip down memory lane with me..
In high school my best friend and I dreamed up a Hair Salon/Make Up Studio/Photography studio called “Creations” (This was right before Glamour Shots became a thing!! If only we had been older darn lol!)
I’ve had a Gift Basket Company- Blackberry baskets
An Embroider/Diaper Bag Company- Bizzy Lil Bees
An Etsy store selling party printables – Sweet by Candy
A Childrens Play Menu set I created and started to sell- Sweet By Candy that evolved to – Play Your Way Cafe- that evolved into – Big City Kids
A stint as a Real Estate Agent, which is basically like having your own business
A Photography Company – Sweet Moments by Candy that evolved into Sweet By Candy Photography and Design
A T-Shirt and Apparel Brand – Cotton Candys
And now my latest venture – Candy Lynn Creative
That is only counting the ones I have actually started and not the many more ideas, visions and dreams I have had and still have. There have been business plans for a glow in the dark golf venue, patent searches for dog products, a new kind of labeling system and the list goes on.
I hope to be able to share with you a little bit of all of the different things that I have learned along the way and that I can bring JOY and CELEBRATION into your daily lives.
